P0700 is an informational code only. It doesn't point to a direct fault in the engine, only a general fault in the transmission. More diagnosis is necessary to identify what the transmission fault is. This requires a scan tool that will communicate with the transmission module.

Could be water in the tank.. if no codes which stinks, it could bea tank pressure/ return pressure issue. Could be as simple as a gas cap but usually the brain senses that pressure issue and throws a code.
Hmm. Evap solenoid on fuel rail maybe? Returns unused fuel to tank...
Hmm don't think the speed sensor in trans will cause a stall.
Seen this in 3.7 v6 engines.........
I think she might have seen the tachometer go nuts or both.
Run codes. Take to auto zone or a good parts store alot of them will run obd for free!!
It may be a cam or crank shaft timing sensor...
Well you have 2 head gaskets if it's a 3.7.. if your oil doesn't have a whitish look to it then it ain't no head gasket issue. I would start by pulling the rocker covers on both heads, replacing rockers and lifters after flushing and blowiing out head lash ports...... if still spitts rockers...
