I'm not a mechanic but yeah i think so. I was under the car while a buddy of mine was shifting and the noise is coming from that area by the t-case and bell housing.- KJRad

No, but the noise is going on when im just standing not moving so i thought i'd factor out the driveshafts. Forgot to mention that part sorry. Im just standing in a spot no moving.- KJRad

groaning in all gears but N & P
when standing still at idle there's getting a groaning noise coming from under my Jeep whenever I put it into gear. Like the description says, the noise stops when the transmission is shifted into neutral or park. It then goes away after the car warms up or whenever i accelerate. I'm going to...- KJRad
