    benefits of re-gearing ?

to me the extra mpg is just a bonus. It's not bad driving through town but sometimes on the interstate i miss the extra acceleration. also is an 05 rear end different from an 03?? I found an 05 close by with 4.10's but from what i've seen the rear is different but the front is the same? Is this...

    benefits of re-gearing ?

i have an 03 renegade 5-speed i'm thinking about putting 4.10's in. It currently has 245/75 tires with ome lift with top plate and spacers. I drive about 50 miles a day with 90% of that being interstate. i currently get 16mpg. if i run a full tank of 89 i can get 17mpg. Any idea what i would get...

    Wondering what my jeeps worth

Thinking about selling my liberty, wondering what everyone thinks its worth or what i could get out of it. It's an 03 Renegade 5-speed. Has 142,000 miles on it. It has 4 new tires, 5 new wheels, new cv axles on both sides, new intermediate shaft, new moog lower ball joints, new moog upper ball...

    5-speed not going into gear

Started having problems with my 5-speed last night. Stopped at a stoplight and it wouldn't go in gear. had to turn the jeep off to put it in gear. Had problems with it the rest of the night and this morning, but at times it would shift normal. I originally thought slave cylinder but i took it...

    ****** leaking somewhere (5-speed)

My ****** is leaking fluid from somewhere but i can't seem to find it. The ****** itself is dry, yet the frame on the left side of the ****** (drivers side) is wet from the top down and the fabric that lines the frame is soaked. I thought it could be where the shifter goes in but i reached up...

    Rear end twisted?

Well i took one of the control arms off today but the bushings didn't look that bad. But the way it drives it seems like it should be the lower control arms. It pulls to the right, if i let off the gas it instantly jerks a little to the right and when i hit the gas again it straightens back up...

    Rear end twisted?

The frame is in good shape. The bushings for the upper arm are ripped. How big of a pain are these to press out? was going to do the ball joint at the same time but it looks pretty big, i don't think i have anything big enough to fit over the top of it. Wondering if i should just buy a whole new...

    finally driveable

I thought about that too. The angle of the lugs are 60 degrees. I tried to find out what the angle of the wheels are but I haven't been able to

    finally driveable

Well I don't need a torque wrench to know that I'm not getting to 100ft/lbs lol. I'll try it tomorrow without the center cap so I can see what it's doing

    finally driveable

I don't know what brand they are. I got them at a local tire shop. They are just standard closed acorn 1/2 by 20 3/4 lug nuts. And I've never used a torque wrench on lug nuts. I'm still doing it by hand as opposed to an impact but it just doesn't have that "feel" of when it starts to get tight
