This weekend I will paint it black. After that it´s going to be a foto series about it, and som thoughs about the results. Maybe I even can use a dynometer to see haw much force there really is.

For the diesel engine? I have a Ferrita on mine. Gives 184 bhp instead of 163. Torque is 440 Nm instead of 400.
Not much, maybe. But it feels like the Jeep is about 300 kg lighter.
0-60 mph goes 2 secunds faster. (What will I do whith all the time I can save???)

These rim are to deep. The outer end of the tire scrubs the fender.
I could not turn the steering wheel more than 3/4 turn.
The snorkel, just for fun. The sheapest snorkel on a Jeep... :D
The whinch started to bend the construction under the framework. The orange colored part in the picture.
And then the Jeep frame would follow in the twist. It is not the strongest material in the front of a KJ, impact...
Where´s the fun in that? \\:D/
And I´ve looked around for different lift kits, but the shiping cost are more than the equipment cost.
But if I would lift another KJ, I will buy a kit.

That made the Jeep too long for downtown parking. And it was not strong enough. But at least I tryed...
The new kit is realy steady, does not move or twist at all.
I know that, but the funny thing is that for example Suzuki Vitara have free wheel hub because it gives better fuel economy. But I don´t believe that. (Suzuki... I had a moped that was a Suzuki)...
