For the diesel engine? I have a Ferrita on mine. Gives 184 bhp instead of 163. Torque is 440 Nm instead of 400. Not much, maybe. But it feels like the Jeep is about 300 kg lighter. 0-60 mph goes 2 secunds faster. (What will I do whith all the time I can save???) Fuel consumtion is no...

Why not go really serious... Bring this on a trailer... Maybe something for land rover owner... :p

I tyed the XJs 15" whith 31" 10,5" 15". http://jeepetorp.blogg.se/2009/september/kj-15-falgar.html These rim are to deep. The outer end of the tire scrubs the fender. I could not turn the steering wheel more than 3/4 turn.

The snorkel, just for fun. The sheapest snorkel on a Jeep... :D The whinch started to bend the construction under the framework. The orange colored part in the picture. And then the Jeep frame would follow in the twist. It is not the strongest material in the front of a KJ, impact...

Where´s the fun in that? \\:D/ And I´ve looked around for different lift kits, but the shiping cost are more than the equipment cost. But if I would lift another KJ, I will buy a kit.

Nice idea. This is the first kit. http://jeepetorp.blogg.se/2008/august/winchmontering.html That made the Jeep too long for downtown parking. And it was not strong enough. But at least I tryed... The new kit is realy steady, does not move or twist at all.

What does that mean? It´s a -05 KJ CRD Sport. Yesterday I was driving at about 55-60 mph, and did a kickdown to pass a horsetrailer. After that I go back to 55-60 mph and everything was OK. When I was doing the same again, one minute later, the kickdown get the transmition to shift down as...

When I start the engine, the tailgate locks. Is that something that can be reprogrammed somehow? I use the jeep when I work, and it´s iritating to go back to the driver side door and unlock the tailgate everytime.

I have the same problem. -05 CRD. And yes, the coolant liquid is between min / max. The light goes on when I start, but goes off when Ive driven about 500 m. It never goes on when the engine is warm.
