Lift Kit Options... Upper Control Arms Necessary?

I have the bds lift on my 2007 and its been great. I decided to go with it because the shops around my area carry it and there are quite a few trucks (although I think I'm the only kj) that use them and swear by them. They have a good warranty although I haven't had to use it. No one around me...

    Soft 8

I mean, they will look fine in a stock KJ, but you are doing things a bit backwards. The way you're doing it, you will pay someone to mount and balance stock tires on the new rims, and then later you will lift it. Once lifted you will be paying someone again to put on bigger tires. Why not lift...

    Vibration after lift

Yeah, I def wouldn't describe this as a rumble, and it certainly doesn't feel/sound like its coming from the front end. It feels almost like a harmonic, but the harder I push the gas the worse it is. Only between 50 - 55, and only when applying the gas.

    Vibration after lift

Ok so I think I fixed it. I bought an alpine head unit and pretend it never happened.

    Vibration after lift

No, I haven't pulled them. If I pull them I'd just replace them while they were out whether they're good or not. Maybe that answeres my own question, but I still not convinced its them.

    Vibration after lift

Ever since my 2" lift and 245/70/16 Grabber AT2s I have a low pitched vibration between 50 and 55 mph when accelerating. I Cant seem to track it down. There isn't any play in the U joints so i would hate to replace them and have it not help. It's been aligned and balanced with no affect. It's...

    Suspension Lift?

I've heard nothing but bad things about RRO. Not necessarily about their products, but the way they treat their customers. You are about to modify your mode of transportation, you're going to want to have some decent support behind what you buy.

Need just a little more lift.

Good deal. Thanks for all your help. You are a scholar and a gentleman.

Need just a little more lift.

It looks like you have the height I'm looking for. And since you already have the clevis and top plate done, it looks like the OME and BDS springs are about the same height.

Need just a little more lift.

Yeah, the "screwed up mess" is kind of what I was referring to with that laundry list of stuff needed to lift that high. I did some research about ome, but i had a hard time finding any one with just a pure ome lift without it being part of some other package like the frankenlift (proprietary...

Need just a little more lift.

Thanks!, but where do I go about getting a 1/4 top plate? Also, the lift amount is one of the reasons I went with BDS, OME only advertised 1.5 inch of lift without putting in Polly spacers. I'd rather have more spring travel and then ask the gurus here how to get it up a bit higher. Hell, i may...

Need just a little more lift.

Hello every one! I have a bds 2" lift on my 2007 liberty. I love the lift but I could use just a little more. Anyone know how to get and extra inch out of it. I'm not trying to stress out to cv's, but I'd like to be able to get some 31" tires under there with out scraping. P.s. I measure 21"...
