OBTW where is this car? I am becoming better at working on them, have less tyrretts while wrenching. I have a 2006 liberty with VM engine, in process of doing timing belt ( plus OEM water pump, thermostat, radiator, samco intercooler hoses, radiator hoses, reachable glow plugs, tensioners...- dieselmotorhead

Yes it is only worth around 2K- it is a project for sure. If the timing belt skipped or broke, it broke all the rocker arms. If everything broke the way it should the valves are undamaged.
