That was a guess based on ignorance, without being familiar with the underside. I have had the oil pool up on plastic and cross members before on other vehicles. It was wishful thinking on my part. Thanks for the info on fluids.- Dencof

I am still getting used to the "sounds" of the vehicle. There is a loose heat shield sound, some creaks in the front suspension, but other than that pretty solid. Are the springs on this called stacked coils? It's not a term I have heard of before. It does look like an oil leaker, but the oil...- Dencof

Thanks. It is kind of a metallic brown. I think a pilot owned it and it spent a lot of time in a hanger.- Dencof

New owner of a 2004 KJ
