Was wondering if anyone here is running without the front swaybar? The wife is really starting to push her 03 Sport now and any additional articulation we could get out of it would be great.
Is it worth it? I wheeled a IFS 99 ranger for years and removing mine made a big improvement off road...
It was a last second thing today. Wife was planning to go ride her horses today but the rain was just to bad so she said "grab our flags and lets hit Bundy instead"...who am I to argue?!
Im a big fan of this place once it gets some rain! Turns the easiest trails and hills into some real white...
Crap day with all the rain we had so we decided to hit up BundyHill ORV park this morning.Had a great time until wife shattered the rear CV on her front driveshaft in the JK.Bronco did great except for I smashed a front fender...again.
I started installing our new Sirius setup in the 03 today and I bought the FM module to plug right into the back on the factory radio but the antena plus are different between the two. Sirius web site only says "some models will need adapters". Anyone know what adapter I need and where to get...
This is not the "premier" park by any means. It is however the newest and the nearest to my home. These pix only show a fraction of what it has to offer tho.
We also have The Mounds ORV park, Rocks & Valleys,Twisted Trails,Turtle Island. I would trade Mi for AZ anytime. lol
The Twin Beam front ends are decent except for massive camber changes during articulation. My is the Dana35 and with some minor mods it flexes very well up front....that said I do have a D44 straight axle waiting to go under it very soon.
The rain the day before made it pretty nasty in the woods. We parked the KJ before we hit the bad trails and just beat mine up instead.
:) She was so happy to see a stock looking black KJ running around the same time as us cuz she could brag how hers was bigger and badder......
Had a great day at Bundy Hill saturday with friends from BorderLine4x4,GL4x4 and Ranger-Forums! First time out in the B2 since last year and only a few things have changed since then biggest being stepping up to 35" tires and wow did they make a huge difference.Truck went everywhere I pointed...
Well, turns out I found the leak today when I was installing a lift on the truck.
Under the battery tray attached to one of the strut bolts is a vent tube line. This line was split open about three inches. I repaired it and finished the lift earlier today and so far no more engine light.
