No start when at operating temp and p0299 (possibly unrelated)

Running a diesel is relatively simple, they need air, fuel, and the heat of compression. Sounds like you had all that because you can start it cold, temperature of the engine should not be relevant for these simple needs, a pump pumps, injectors inject, as long as the pump is working you always...

Tire and rim comb for stock height?

My '05 CRD has no problem running 235-75X16 which are a bit taller than the 245-70s I originally ran.

    Towing Casitia travel trailer

Early on there was overheating concerns, but they turned out to be misinformation from the computer, was fixed in one of the computer reflashes without being specifically noted as such.

    wheel/tire fitment?

KK have the standard jeep 5X5 inch bolt pattern like the new Wranglers have. Our are 5X 4.5 inch.

    need new tires, recommendations?

I've been running Nokian Vatiivas, 245/70 X 16 on my CRD for two years now, love them for what you need them for. Nokian builds the icon no stud winter tire and it has a tread pattern much like a Vatiiva, but the rubber is much softer. If there is a tire of this type out there that comes stock...

    Air intake

Quite e few companies played with the intake, none could get an improvement worth the production costs. Lots of earlier posts back about 2 years ago on this. Turbos take the amount of air they need no matter what, it's no way the same as the gas intake. If it doesn't get what it needs a turbo...

    Wheel/tire combo rub potential

The Cragars and all the others are really Unique wheels rebadged. Unique has a much greater BS variety, I believe you can buy them with up to 4.5 inches of backspacing on the 7 inch width and 5 inches on the 8 inch models.

Will This Roof Basket Fit My KJ?

Get a couple pieces of Electrical Strut, some people also call it Kendorf, and a few of the adaptor clamps that fit in the strut and wrap around the factory rack. (I think they were the 1 1/8 " models) There strut is light weight and very strong and looks much like a piece of channel iron, the...

    Looking for front 2in receiver

It wasn't a bit hard 3 years ago, I think 3 companies built them, than there was a buy out, then there were none. I have the Hidden Hitch. You might get one of the universal hitches to work with a bit of work, think someone said about a year ago they went that route.

    Provent

The other side drivers in Europe and Australia seem to have more room than we have and put it in front of the fuel filter. I've seen some earlier pics of a few installs on our rigs on the passenger side, but it was a very tight fit. Most have gone the EHM route. I had a mini Provent I built on...

    Air intake

Haven't looked under the hood have you, it's in there already. It's not restrictive though it can let a bit of rain in.

    Tire Poll

The Nokians haven't been out very long and aren't in our size yet unless you go with the 235/85 last I looked. That said the ones I have been around I think worked much like the Nitto Mud Grapplers performancewise. This is not an opinion from a lot of running time however.

    tire size/height question

Love my Nokian Vatiivas, paid $480 for 4, 245/70s mounted and balanced with warranty and free rotation for life from Tire Factory. Nice and quiet on the road, great in inclement weather of any kind including winter conditions. Made in Finland, I guess they have nasty weather/ marginal road tires...

    Lift kit question

For a 2 WD I'd do something simple like the Rancho lift or a Daystar lift. Look in the front wheelwell of your rig in the back, see anything sticking out there that fits the discription? Also wheels that size and width may give you fits with the front of the rear flares also. You do know your...

    More style less off road?

I don't know where you live, but a lifted off road KJ isn't normal where I come from.
