Recommend ignoring all those YT vids that claim replacing the CPS on Liberty 2.4 Petrol KJ is a quickie. If it's done properly it ain't. The critical bit many vids miss out is adjusting clearance of the magnetic sensor tip which has to be 003" / 1mm. If you don't get the clearance right you'll...
Just a thought which might help - having had similar weird temperature issues (mine was overcooling and repeatedly producing an 'under temperature' fault code) I began replacing stuff: ECT sensor itself, all coolant and the thermostat. No change so I figured it was an electrical management issue...

OR maybe try to remove the 4way motor bit from yr old mirror and make it fit into the new mirror?
I've taken apart 4 folding mirrors now and they've...

Use a rigid triangular paint scraper, max tilt mirror up and lever up smartly & firmly from as far in as scraper will go.
To refit line up centre boss and one ram clip then press down above each ram clip.
Mirror is mounted on a base...
hard for you guys to understand but remember we're a small country with crowded cities, old narrow streets etc so folding wing mirrors are fitted to nearly all cars. Electric versions just make it nice n easy when navigating into (standard) 8ft wide single garages, parking spaces etc ;-)
Having just spent several days investigating the inner workings of these poorly made mirrors, I'm posting this info in the hope it helps someone else with cherokee KJ/Liberty jeep power folding mirror problems. I found almost zero info on how to repair them apart from one badly shot video on YT...
