How did you first find your KJ?

sorry so long but I got 2 Well mine started when we were looking for a car for the wife and I was still driving my heavily modded TJ. We went to the jeep dealership cause it was before xmas and they were having a good year end sale, so I was looking for a deal. We looked around and she...

Question to anyone with a modified Exhaust

exhaust yes, a k&n filter full kit is best but a drop in is good to, sythetic fluids all around, new spark plugs bosch platinum 2 are good and not too expensive, and a new muffler only no need for cat back as you already have the larger pipes on a libby. I get 20 to 22 at 70 to 75 mph and 18 in...

15% Off Web Orders All Jeep Liberty Parts

graphics trimm Those wood grain graphics are just like my patriot edition graphics and they are tough. They are made of very heavy vinyl and are almost impossible to scratch even offroad. I have had mine through trees and rocks and no damage to them, in fact my kj is in the bodyshop right now...

To Bling or not to Bling

functional bling well bling can be functional and also look good, but I agree it is all about how you like your kj to look. Thanks for the compliment 2003kj I think my kj looks good muddy as well, but I think all of the Bling looks good to especially with the colors of my kj. But my bling...

    SKYJACKER PLATINUM LIFT

Lifts I hacve heard in the other forums that the frankenlift has UBJ contact too, I have rusty's with a 5/8 clevis lift and still have not had any contact yet. On the other hand maybe I am just lucky or I am just not hard enough on my KJ.

Rusty's Coil Suspension lift vs. Strut Spacer Lift

cv angles I have over 40 k on my lift now and no issues with cv's or boots seem to be working fine and Rust's has no upper ball joint contact to tear the boot.

Rusty's Coil Suspension lift vs. Strut Spacer Lift

which lift In my opinion get the coil lift it will not dissapoint you. The spacer lift will give you les flex as the springs are stock so they will not stretch as far, the coil lift gives you longer springs so they will expand farther. I have never driven the puck lift but the coil lift rides...

Need your opionions on this. tow hook mount idea.

should be good Yeah I think mounting through the 1/4 inch steel should be ok, I mounted mine through the 2 1/4 plates and have had no strength issues. I have already had to use them to pull myself out of the mud when I hung it up on the tree. I try to pull across my brush bar rather than from...

To Bling or not to Bling

too funny Must have been a gut buster seeing that dress up H2 sitting there, I laugh at them all the time in Chi town as they can't even park the're big old chevys (oops did i say that) in the parking garages. And thanks for the mud club approval my baby does know how to get dirty but I wish...

To Bling or not to Bling

Bling Bling I agree that a jeep doesn't need the bling, but when I put black on my patriot blue paint it was missing something. I also don't believe in chrome, that is why all my extras are stainless steel, a good SS won't rust in the Chicago salt, and it cleans up real easy as well. \:D/

Need your opionions on this. tow hook mount idea.

hook placement Correct me if I am wrong but wouldn't that put your tow hook behind your round tube? I think this would be a problem if you were unable to get or see under the vehicle, but that would only apply if your front end was buried in mud or water i guess. JMO
