1. transmission sounds like birds chirping at idle, accelerates well, low pitched rumble when slowing down. 2. one in three times the headlights do not turn off the first time, usually the second time cycling the switch on-off works. Thanks for any help

I happens about 1-2 seconds before the vehicle stops, sometimes it repeats just as I accelerate. The service writers/ techs have drove the vehicle and ended up replacing pretty much the front suspension. The tech checked the driveline for play and said everything was tight at least up front...

I had simular issues, on mine in was the "rear ball joint" I know I thought he was pulling my leg but there really is one, and when it goes bad it makes a popping sometimes grinding noise.
