According to Mopar the 2007 re the rad is part # 68020278AA ..https://www.moparwholesaleparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-engine-cooling-radiator-68020278aa?c=Zz1jb29saW5nJnM9cmFkaWF0b3ItYW5kLXJlbGF0ZWQtcGFydHMmbD03Jm49QXNzZW1ibGllcyBQYWdlJmE9amVlcCZvPWxpYmVydHkmeT0yMDA3JnQ9c3BvcnQmZT0zLTdsLXY2LWdhcw==
No cap on the rad. The reservoir tank /overflow is against the firewall & has a 16 psi cap.
Only use a Mopar Rad, as they are the bet quality for our KJ's. Others won't last long.

Thank you very much - good to know I wasn't being ripped off.

Hm, interesting. My 07 has a radiator with a 16PSI cap, and a reservoir tank with just a dinky plastic cap. Definitely NOT meant to hold pressure.

Yes interesting.
I suppose this was a cross over year between 2007 & 2008, & possibly later 2007's may have switched to a rad cap on rad.
In the future, I'll recommend calling a dealer with your vin # as it would be more accurate to which rad may then apply. Thx.

Well honestly I'm curious if it is a crossover thing, or its just my jeep. There have been previous items on this jeep that weren't "Factory" but were put in to make it work.
If I'm supposed to have a pressurized reservoir then I have an issue on my hands.

I'm pretty sure rad is a cross over to 08 KK with a rad cap.
I'll let Ifhoward elaborate though..

I do know at least the vehicle was built somewhere in the summer/early fall of 2007. As per the somewhat correlating dates on the vehicle, transfer case, etc.
