Hello i wanted to see if anyone had luck installing these type of lights. I wanted them for the front bumper. Possibly as DRL or spot lights. How would i wire them? They are “IJDMToy” 10w dual lights . Thanks

You must be registered for see images attach

Tap into + and - for 2nd light
I'd use a 3amp fuse.

So here is what i did . I used a switch and i was able to connect to white light and i figure i could use a dual switch so i can run the amber since they are dual or just connect it to the turn signals or fog lights . Any suggestions would help but ill mess around with it and see what options i have. .

Oh.. so you got white & amber, time for some A/B wiring, I'll get Bill our electrical expert involved, to help you then.

OK what is needed is a Single Pole Double Throw switch ie. three terminals on the switch and it stops in the central position.

You join the two lamps in paralell ie. Black to Black, Red to Red, Yellow to Yellow.

Black leads go to ground.

Fused +12 volts goes to center of the switch.

Red wires go to one side of switch while Yellow wires go to the other side.

Moving switch to one side switches White ON ...to the other side switches Amber ON.

I am making assumptions here..surely the lamps came with some instructions?

You can first experiment by touching a Red wire to Fuse +12 volts and touching first the Black wire to ground and the remove from ground and touch Yellow wire to ground...ideally first one light comes On then the other.

Is there no way to ask the Manufacturer on how this should be connected?

Normally I would think that Red goes to Fused +12 volts but and likewise Black is for ground!o_O

Yes you would think that the packaging should contain a wiring diagram.
I wonder if the op has even ordered them or found something else ??

The packaging didn’t come with a specific set up for dual light. But the switch i got for it is the switch that came with the kit for general set up. Thats why i would have to run a separate wire for the amber lights or should i tap it to ground ? To use with the double throw switch. . Thanks
