Welcome.
Sounds like an engine ticking noise, valve train tick .??
A mechanical stethoscope may help to pinpoint left or right side etc.
May have to pull valve cover (s)
to inspect rockers, or one loose ?
You could pull the accessory serpentine belt for a few moments, to eliminate accessory noises.

Yeah I also used at stethoscope, and found out it’s on the passenger side, only 128000 on it. I checked to see if it was an exhaust leak but puttin In the new oil kinda proved that. If I pull the vale cover off how would I be able pinpoint what’s bad

Making oil thicker will not help and many times make it worse
If you pull the cover you should be able to tell if a rocker is loose or getting ready to fall off

Oops lol. Being that they’re hydraulic lifter I thought maybe if the was a weak lift it would keep it from Ticken like it was. Alright I’ll give it a look here a let you know what’s up, Bronson gym my fingers it’s not a crank bearing or something down there lol

I would change all the lifters in it. Honestly not that bad of a job if you have the tools and I’ve seen to many fail right around 100k. Don’t end up like this guy, just put a new engine in his at work last week.

Have a customers 05 that has a slight tick in it till it warms up. At 25-30 degrees it does it for about 5 minutes or less
He is of the type if its still running don't touch it LOL
Love to get in there now and replace rockers/lifters esp since I have a set sitting in the shop

Yeah, that's about 150k. That's about when I had a few weak ones in my 02. Actually had the #2 exhaust fall of twice. The second time I replaced several of the lifter/lash adjuster on that side and no more problems.

I just wanna make sure Ik what it is before I tear it apart, if it’s like a cam bearing then I’m goin to probably have to get some stuff Cause I don’t have cherry pick or engine stand
