I used this on the sedan with yellowed plastic lenses & scratched up, with 90% back to new clarity. $15

Apply the cream onto yellow foam pad, is the HD scrubber, and then down 1 by 1 to finest pad.
I don't know what is in the cream cleaner but it works!

For best results a buffer on drill or dremel helps.
The Jeep lens had yellowed a bit and just applying the cream on the finest pad, gave a really clean result.

Even the rear 3rd brake light looks new again, so this stuff works on plastics good!
There are many restore kits from 3M to Rain X & everything in-between & I'm sure they all help.
Cheaper than buying new headlight lenses..
I've tried brasso and other stuff, but so far this kit worked well.

Looks awesome!

I hit mine up with Meguire's Plastic X with a wool pad once a year and they look good still.

Where did you find this package at? I tried Local autoparts store and didn't have it.

I've always used a little rubbing compound and my DA. If you have this stuff already on hand it's much cheaper then some of those kits

Looks great - like brand new :)

How does VERY fine wet and dry go? Is it too harsh, or does it work well?
I was thinking maybe wet and dry followed by a buff and polish.

Honestly the best ways to do this have been mentioned.
If you have rubbing compound, a DA and microfiber - you’re in business !

I used the 3M kit which is a system which you start coarse and work to very fine then buff and polish. Worked great. Just needs a touch up with a buffer once and again.

Why not just get new headlight housings?? They’re cheap and will last longer than continually doing this.

Not as much fun :happy175:
But I have two sets of Mopar NOS headlight housings in my spare parts bin
But I still sanded , rubbed out the ones on the 03 about a month ago one evening , just enjoyable

Take my money. I need parts

Trying to think of what I want to keep and may need in the next 20-25 years and what I'll never use.
Ya know how it is, sell / get rid of something today, and 2 days later you need it ! So you go to buy it and it is double priced of what you just sold the one you had for. No win !
