Here soon I am going to add some DIY D ring tow points until I can afford something a bit more substantial(detour backbone). I am looking for as much input and advice on how to attach them in the best way possible. As well as any good designs that any body has used in the past. I do not want to use the factory tow hooks. I do want to locate them in about the same spots that the factory tow hooks would be located. Also any pictures would be extremely helpful. Thank You for all of the help in advance!

You didn't go through the whole thread, did you?:emotions34:
Pics on page 2,3,4 and 6!

Edit: to be fair, maybe your ISP blocker is blocking them, or you need to register, but they are there. I suggest you register.

Looks good, NOW if it was me I'd have someone weld a piece of tubing from one side to the other. That way if on a side pull there would be force spread across the both of them instead of just two bolts , be hard to tear off that way
Just a suggestion :mexsmoke:

Got a good picture of what the front tow points look like when the front bumper is off. Still need to add a piece of steel tubing between the two but I still have some time before I will be able to really go off road due to snow in the mountains.
