To protect my head for getting bonked again, I got the new supports installed today.
Had to use a squeegee to keep the hood propped open, they were that bad.

The "hood" Parts I got were made by AVM industries,(Rhino Pac) USA made and are the Same Part number 4366 as Strong Arm Lift Supports.
Monroe Part # is 901513 and Mopar # is 55360411AC

My small screwdriver was too large to pry the metal clamps up, so I resorted to use the Jeep Knife, and it worked like a charm!
54137"]
The Mopar had chrome the new supports are all black, less sun reflections!:happy175:
54139"]
With the new ones in place, You almost have to sit on the hood to try to close it!:happy175:
If it was not for the hood catch when you pop the hood, it would now fly open all on it own!arty52:
