$800-$850
Full spring kit with shocks
OME or Ironman
Doesn't matter if you all you ever go "off road " is across the back yard you still need a full spring lift
Why? Simple you have a vehicle that is close to 11-12 years old, springs and shocks are gone/done for/worn out.
Is there cheaper, sure you'll find some cheaper but will not give the ride/handling/ or last as long , plus will completely finish off you current springs /shocks

The phrase "lift my jeep for cheap" should be automatically erased as soon as you try and type it.:icon_lol:

I bet Tom is sick and tired of explaining this -____-

Don't even think about it anymore
Even went into the whole sermon at the gas station the other night when some guy started asking about springs etc for his
I think he was really confused when he left since he originally asked about the Duratracs :happy175:

Haha! I have given that speech now at a gas station. It happened today. I was also approached by a Commander owner. He was asking me where he could get the stuff to lift his.:icon_lol:

Using the Teraflex lift and wheel spacers to fit 245/75R16s. I went this route because it was time for tires, and we wanted bigger.

Well I hate to break it to you but that lift was a waste of money. You may have gained some clearance but you are still on the stock springs right?

Im happy with the cheap spacer lift. I put it in myself. Yes, stock springs. Might need rears soon. They've sagged over the past 2 years and i expected that.

That was like the worst advice I've seen on here in a while ..

But I mean if it's working for you that's awesome and all that matters, right?

Kinda of harsh don't you think? :emotions34:

I keep my wife's ride safe and as reliable as I can so she gets to & from work, plus not get stranded in the snow, or some backroad, or friend's steep dirt driveway.

This cheap lift is more reliable than the OE rear calipers that seize, cause the brakes to glow red hot, and almost catch the Jeep on fire. :blah:

Get used to it dude. There are several outspoken member's here that would rather ridicule than offer advice. They come here to show off their knowledge and experience, but get pissy if it's a question that gets answered a lot. "Use the search, it's been answered 1000 times before" is always the popular answer...

Don't go getting all hurt over it. There are enough sensative guys in here already lol it was meant to be tongue-in-cheek and nothing more.

Sometimes I get used to the local groups I am in where we give eachother a hard time and bust eachothers balls all in good fun. I forget that there are to many here that don't like seeing that type of friendly banter and get upset when they see it happening to someone else. I guess in their world there is no giving eachother crap and it must all be in a hateful way always if they see it.

As a group of Jeep enthusists alike I thought it was cool to rag on eachother a little, so it was nothing personal my friend. Honestly, Despite what trucker said above about it always happening blah blah, It was just meant to be giving you a hard time in good fun and nothing more. Seriously, 99% of the time that's all it ever is among people, but others see it and get butt hurt and take it serious and try to jump to peoples aid when nothing bad was meant by anything

You'll have to pardon Hedsic, he's a trouble maker and thinks he's better than us just because he has a JK!
Disclaimer: the above was simple friendly banter....pretty much. :happy175:

lol damn straight lol nah kidding. I miss my KJ a lot. Been thinking about buying another one if I can pick an older one up for a good price.

But to reiterate above. I really wasn't trying to bash on the dude with the spacer lift so I hope he realizes it was meant as me just busting his balls.. I've come to realize that Jeeps are like gay marriage.. Why should I care what others do. It's their own free choice and if that works for them, that's awesome.

I'd hafta say that 8-10 years ago, members would have been oh, say 8-10 years younger, and some less curmudgeon too.
Heck, Hedsic was barely out of diapers back then, and some are getting closer to being back in em again! :happy175:
