I have the leather with electric controls but no heat and all they do is hurt my back. They also have great seat covers on them that helped a little but I think my seats are junk. my seats are also as hard as a rock. Are the cloth seats any better? and if they are what year liberty has the best seats and what type?

I think that one of the owners before me was on the large side and broke the seat because I have a hard time adjusting it and I had a problem where on of the seat motors was not even working. the main issue is that because I am short and the lumbar support is to high on my back.

127,000 on mine and never had an issue with them. Have driven 11-15 hours at a time and comfortable. I have the cloth but have a set of leathers going in soon just to change it up some

The 05-07 seats are a bit different with different supports. I have back problems and I find them to pretty good. On longer trips I roll up a hand towel and use that for extra support sometimes. Never really sat in an 02-04 so I can't compare. Try to find an 05-07 Limited and see how that feels.

I hated my cloth seats in my '06 Liberty. Aside from a front bench seat they was probably the worst seats I've had in a vehicle so far. I would always be figgiting around while driving on longer trips to try to get comfortable.

I remedied this by leaning the seat back fairly far (for my standards). That way my lower back isn't doing any work at holding my body up. Survived a 22 hour journey to New Orleans with minimal stops. Of course...I'm only 22. Things could change down the line... :smokin:

my 03 w/ leather seats have no lumbar support at all. thinking of possibly getting those lumbar support pads for the seat.
