I posted on here a little while back...and everyone suggested that I record a video of the sound. I've tried multiple times...but the sound of the wind is too loud.

Basically, the issue appears to be coming from the drivers side. The noise doesnt sound like a scraping, and also not a whine. It's more of just a "tsss" kind of sound. It also only happens when I turn right. If i'm going at a significant speed and turning, it will make the noise the entire time. If i'm going at a slower speed and turning it will not make the noise, unless I hit a few bumps...and it will make the noise on each bump.

I have had the issue for a couple months now, and I've replaced the rotors and brake pads thinking it was coming from my pads scraping. There doesnt seem to be anything stuck anywhere that I can see...and i'm starting to wonder if I may have a CV issue? I also was reading that it might be my power steering pump?

Any guesses guys?

power steering pump will make noise when you turn the wheel even if you are not moving. doesnt take much, just a little off center to hear it

Look under the driver side just as the bottom of the floor board starts to curve up to the fire wall you will see some rubber hoses by the frame rail . Check those for cracks and or brakes. Not to say thats your problem and why when you turn your wheel. It will echo off the wheel and you can hear it in the cab. It's an easy check that just might be your problem

Checked everything for cracks and breaks and all. Checked my CV boots, no tears or grease showing. I had the car in park and turned the wheels, no noise. I turned the wheel while pushing down really ******* the suspension (to simulate bumps as best I could), no noise. I'm thinking the vehicle must be rolling for this sound to occur. Does that help narrow it down to a few things?

Today I leaned out the jeep as far as i could (about waist high) in an empty lot and was listening to the sound. It's definitely coming from the wheel area. the noise happens once per wheel rotation. Does that narrow it down to a wheel bearing?

I agree with Ry N Jen, while you have it up on stands so you can spin the tires take them off. Repack the bearings, you can do this by hand quickly and very efficiently. Immediate results.

How can you repack a front hub bearing? It will have to be replaced as its a sealed bearing. Now if it was a roller bearing on a spindle it could be repacked but Kjs and other ifs have hub bearings. Also a front alignment should be checked after replacement of a hub bearing.

I would still keep all options open while checking. Hub bearing, rotor, CV or maybe the tire or wheel it's self. Keep looking sounds like your getting closer to the source.

Alright, here is the latest and greatest.
I took the wheels n tires off, and switched sides, just to make sure it wasn't something going on with that. I tried rotating them up on stands, and still nothing. I also took it out to the empty lot and this is what I found.

As mentioned before..this only happens when turning right going at a decent speed.
It also happens when turning right going slow and hitting bumps.
It does not happen in reverse.
It does happen when in neutral, and obviously in drive.
And again, it doesnt happen when it isnt moving.

It seems that going fast and turning, and going slow and hitting bumps may mean that it happens when more weight is put on due to the high speed putting more weight on that side, and the bumps, obviously because they are bumps lol.

This noise was present before I changed rotors and brake pads as well.
Any other suggestions?
