I carry A LOT of stuff in my KJ daily and yes I know it kills mpg but I like to be prepared. I'm just curious if you guys have any cool hide aways in your libby that some of us may not know about. I know the obvious like the entire rear storage area. I'm just looking for some cool ideas for organization and what not.

I have a 3/8" drive socket set which sets very well in the well under the rear seat, behind the driver.

its a Safe-T-Gear kit, they used to sell them at walmart. Now they're called justincase's there are 2 different sizes I think they're $10 and $20. Mine was the smaller one, it had some good stuff but I just wanted the bag really so I supplemented it with some other stuff.

I have the the $20 Justincase. Keep it in the off road kit, which is at home most of the time. But I have another First Aid kit in the netting in the back.

I keep a roll of paper towels under the second row, and in the seat back pocket I keep the windsheild sun screens.

When I want to empty the Libby all I have to do is pick it up an pull it out. And the bungee cords keep it from coming out of the rear cargo area should you flip your ride

I don't yet have a Hi-Lift and I'm not positive I'd buy a purse for it :D
It is a good location to store it though.

I do similar to this. I have a Rubbermaid tote in the cargo area that contains extra fluids in case I should break down somewhere out in the middle of nowhere, and then I also have a smaller toolbox outfitted with (hopefully) all the tools I'd need to convert the KJ from 4WD to 2WD to get me home. Both containers are held down with ratchet straps.

All that in addition to the hi-lift under the back seat, first aid kit, maps, mini air compressor, blah, blah, blah, that live under the front/back seats.

Left of driver's seat, in the floor cut away sits a long steel pipe, used as an extension for tire iron. Then above the pipe sits a fire extinguisher. Never had to Change a tire yet, touch wood.

Use the space wisely and you can have quite a bit in there.
Like the upcoming camping trip though, most of my stuff is carried in the boat.
