Hello all I thought that I would chime in on this one. From what I have read about the motors for the 02 and first part of 03 and the later 3.7 is the only major difference is the crank sensor wheel the 02/03 has 12 teeth and the later ones have a 30 teeth wheel. If you use a later 3.7 you need the crank kit of the 02/03 3.7. Every thing else will work fine. Hope this helps
