Not trying to be and ass, but that weld job is horribly disgusting. Hope they stay attached for you.

Prospect62: do you have anymore info/pics on that?

What is the best reciever tube to use 1 1/2" solid, or 2" tube? I have the 2" now, but after looking at what pictures there were, most seem to be 1 1/2"

Sorry guys haven't checked this thread in awhile.

Ohio, no sorry like an idiot I didn't take any pictures while I was doing it. What info are you looking for? Maybe I could help in some way...

2-old: You can use either one. Most of us go with the 1 1/2" because that's just what the drawbars with that much drop come as. You can use either.

Williebones: Yeah it hides pretty well. I had to cut on the outer edges and along the top of the openings where the drawbars come through. If you used the steel spacer plate as suggested by other guys, you shouldn't have to do that kind of clearancing.

Used 2 1/2" receivers. If I ever find out how to post pictures with the narrative, I will show the steps to install them on an 05.

Nevermind I didn't spot the numerous pages the first time I glanced at this but more pics would still be nice.

I know this is a dead post, but I just picked up an 07 Liberty, and the recovery points from Mopar are on back-order for a couple more weeks, and would love to try this out.

However, am a little leery on cutting my bumper besides where I would for the tow hooks. Has anyone done this to a Liberty with the same front bumper as the 07? Any suggestions? Tips?
