I was getting a little desperate waiting for my OME's so I called the "store" I bought from and they said they'll look into it so the following day he says the have been delivered and I said, I haven't gotten $hit and he sent me the tracking order from UPS and sure they delivered them on march 26th on my front door, but I never got anything...several times UPS leaves stuff in my front door and either me or my wifes always see it and get it but not now, it says it was delivered at 8:30pm at that time that day my wife was at the house with my parents so she couldn't have missed it,

UPS said to contact the vendor but I know the vendor is gonna say "what? They were delivered I have nothing to do with it" is there anything I can do?

Nobody signed anything my wife called UPS and they said we left the package on ur front door and my wife ask her "what if it got stolen? Cuz he didn't signed anything" UPS said, "I can't answer that"
What kind of crap is that??

If anybody knows or has experience this I would appreciate it, man this is depressing I don't wanna pay for them again.

Used to happen when i worked for best buy a bunch, UPS would deliver and leave camera/laptop on their door step and it wouldn't be there when customer would get home. the problem is there is no proof you never got it. IF they never got your signature, they aren't always supposed to mind you, but a lot of times after a lot of phone calls, UPS takes care of the customer. its a neccessary evil i suppose :( sorry to hear that man

If they do not have a signature then they are 100% liable for the missing items.File a complaint.

I'm gonna call them tomorrow and tell them that, also I'm gonna check the street behind. me and the one before that, everynow and then I'll get mail from those streets from houses that have the same number maybe that's what happend , right now I can't think of something else, if I have to ill be bugging UPS

It's up to UPS to PROVE delivery

A scan in a computer means nothing, they need someone's signature to prove delivery. Either that or a signed form saying "you can leave it here without signature confirmation". Keep calling UPS, keep requesting to speak to someone higher up than the standard phone-answerer.

push this and dont give up or give in. make them prove they got it in your hands since your name is on the package. if they have no sig, ild say you can win this pretty easy.

But hey hell I got my OME, ill be 3" higher on sunday, hopefully it won't rain so I can install it, just gotta go to autozone and rent that tool to compress them :D

Not quite true, it's generally up to the shipper to require a signature for delivery.

FedEx for example, has a box you have to check on the airbill stating a signature is required.

UPS has a Shipper Release box (#4) that says no signature is required:

You must be registered for see images attach

The back of the form says this:

You must be registered for see images attach

Get a copy of the form from the shipper or call UPS and see if the shipper released it. They should be able tell you - if not, PM me with your tracking number and I'll look it up. I have a personal and business account with UPS.

Good Luck

Just saw you got your lift!

Nevermind...

Whenever a vendor ships a package it is up to them to make it signature required , If they do not UPS cannot be held liable for leaving the package, the driver is not required to get one, further more if UPS informed you that the package was delivered, it was. As soon as the driver drops it at your doorstep he scans it with his board and that info gets sent. It is the vendors responsibility to replace the item. After, any issues will be resolved between the vendor and ups.
