Radio stopped working. Everything else is fine.

My '03 KJ Ltd. has the stock stereo. Its got AM/FM, a cassette player, and of course the CD player. Its also got factory premium speakers.

Just recently, and out of the blue, the stereo stopped working. Everything else works fine, it's just the stereo. I looked in the owner's manual and checked fuse but it looks fine. I then checked any fuse that had anything related to the dashboard. All of them are fine, too.

What am I overlooking? As I stated before, it just stopped working out of the blue. It won't even turn on.

Mine does that periodically, but if I shut the vehicle off it usually comes back on

Could be a loose wire in the back or just a dead head unit(the radio).

Can hurt to upgrade!

That's the eventual plan. Right not I just gotta get the stocker going again.

Disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes and retry.

Not that this should be here but I've got a factory CD unit from my 05' sitting in a box I'll let go cheap if you don't get yours working.
