Had to cut out these little plastic stereo mounts to make room for Double Din to fit. Also had to remove the metal bracket on the back of the compartment and adjust the location of some wires, to make extra room.

After preparing the dash I had to make a custom bracket for the DVD player out of some sheet metal. The bracket was attached with the screws that came with the DVD player.

The next step was to cut out the original stereo panel to a double din sized hole from the 1.5 Din.

Post cut and installing the new bracket -- the edges are kind of wavy from the finish on the original panel.

Finished repaint and install of panel

The blue tooth adapter was wrapped in a piece of foam, to keep rattles down, and placed to the left of the DVD player.

This is a pretty old thread but I like how the Pioneer looks in there, a bit too fancy for my taste but sweet to see how you got it in there.
