02 Liberty Sport 3.7L 4x4 Command trac.
So the other day I used my 4lo to get up an icy hill at work. Couldn't switch back to 4hi or 2hi. My 4hi gets plenty of use and never has a problem. 4lo is rarely used.
So basically, pulling the handle works fine across all positions, but then it can't be pushed back down across any position. Problem didn't start until I used 4lo. Problem persists, even when the cable is detached from the transfer case.
For clarity, the transfer case still can be switched manually with a bit of encouragement, the problem seems to be in the cable or the handle.
Any idea what's causing that? Advice?
