Well, I went to Edmunds and did a comparison between the Liberty and the Wrangler Unlimited X out of sheer curiosity. I'm amazed at how similar these two vehicles are. Take a look:

what's the difference? oh and wrangler's mpg is still being researched.. what is the published with 3.8? since it has more torque, i assume it would be worse..

Max. Cargo Capacity 87 cu. ft. 69 cu. ft.

I guess wrangler is without rear seats?

Oh and you might want to use URL tag and put yours into code, because page looks messed up :(

no..

Anyway, how is the wrangler shorter over-all, but the wheel base is around 12in longer? :-s Its not like the libby has fenders that hang over alot? Im just not seeing where they get the extra wheelbase?

The only thing I like with the Wrangler is that unless the designers start foaming at the mouths, it's the only Jeep guaranteed of having manual transmission.

And since when does the Liberty not come in manual, not have compass and temperature?

They have alot of stuff wrong on that page. It says the wrangler doesnt have a center diff nor a locking center diff? :-s

it also says a nav system is not ava on the wrangler.. Thats wrong..

No temp and compass on the libby? I must have a special libby? 8-[

Ya know what? I never noticed all that. I was lookin at pure specs. Here's KBB's estimation. It still says no Nav on Wrangler, but it seems closer. Sorry guys.
