There was a refinery fire, then slightly higher demand, less oil from OPEC... I could go on and on about the stories I've read. Oil is down today... $61. Gasoline is up, home heating oil down.

Thats about what we pay around my area give or take a few cents. And thats Coming from the Last Frontier!

Well i hate all of you guys.....

Paid 2.91 for regular unleaded at COSTCO............................
Regular gas stations were above 3 dollars a gallon for regular.

OUCH! I paid $2.46 at Safeway today.

I saw a report on MSNBC that detailed why gas is going up right now. It’s warmer out so you’d think that prices would go down a little. However this is the time of the year when refineries go partially offline and work on maintenance issues, and begin the change back over to summer fuel. So I am hoping that this will last for only another month and prices will decline once more before they rise again for summer travel.

Othewise here in the upper mississippi valley gas is hovering around $2.45, less if you go west of the mississippi and more if you go east.

What I noticed today. I use regular unleaded.

Sunoco= $2.69

Hess= $2.65

USA Gas=$2.65 (No Name?)

B P =$2.67

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.................

Diesel, and its approx 88.9p/L here.

Was kind of a shock in the beginning when I thought you were talking about litres :)
