What are the chances?? Any one on here from Coffeen, Illinois? I bought a 2003 Black jeep liberty renegade with a motor that needs to be replaced and was just wondering if anyone might now of this jeep as it was a repo from out that way.

I'm over in Michigan but sorry about the motor man.

How long have you had the Renny? What kind of mileage does it have?

Make sure you get a quote at the dealer and then the local shops. A friend of mine in Florida is getting the engine replaced in his Ford F150 from the dealer because they were actually cheaper than the other guys.

Doing it all my self, hopeing to pull it out today and get the other one in tomorow. I new the motor was shot when i bought this one back in april, i was just hopeing i might find someone on here that might of known the guy who owned the jeep so i could find out if there might be any more surprises. As i bought it as a repo.

Carfax? Though, if it's not put in the database, you won't get the information... Dealers use Carfax now, but private lots don't, nor to people who owned them. Carfax is stupid, because if no one puts information IN about the car, then you don't get information FROM carfax...

Did the carfax route before i picked it up and well lets just say i have a few doubts, but i got it for a good enough price to were ill deal with what ever comes my way with it. so far motor and tires.

That's why I wont buy a repo vehicle. If someone can't work enough or care enough to make a payment, then they dang sure aren't going to take care of their vehicle.
