A tale of hope and sorrow.
Brother came with me, towed his blazer up there.
It was a beautiful day, and all seemed to be well.
First mistake: Should not have gone into the never ending miniature ATV trails, They are ATV trails for a reason. Very exciting though almost rolled a few times.
The red wrangler was afraid to go through the left part here, So I went in first! LOL Have video of it.
He gave it a good effort, but unfortunately not even Bill Cosby would have had authority over this pudding-like mud. Luckily the Liberty is a great recovery tool.
Mud, mud, mud, mud...CLUNK! Goodbye drivers side half shaft...
Shortly after he broke down and then hydrolocked, my precious Liberty failed in the most unexpected way, overheated... radiator fan seized up and I boiled out about a gallon of coolant.
Our day ended before I even had a chance to pull out the tripod and take some good shots.
I guess I'll just have to revisit the mounds in the near future with a better plan, for saving my fan.
Has anyone else ever had any problem with the radiator fan dying from mud intoxication. It wasnt even thick mud either.
Well anyway, I'll add a video link in this thread in a day or two. The vids are much more interesting.
