my wifes 02 is making a popping like noise when it idles. it isnt loud but it is there if you listen. it doesnt seem to miss when driving and i have recently put in new plugs (2 months ago). I suspect either a bad coil pack ??? or more so a clogged cat. To me it sounds like a clogged exhaust since it doesnt miss. What do you guys think? the engine light does stay on and has for about a month now. other than the noise and light, yould never know anything was wrong.
