Engine noise

Hi guys!

When idling the jeep will make a clicking noise every couple seconds, it’s spaced apart but it’s a single click. Sounds like something primes & then clicks. Is this normal? Not a clue what it is.

Have you opened the bonnet and watched the serpent belt while idling? I had something similar and IIRC it was a belt pulley momentarily sticking for a fraction of a second.
