Noise only happens after warmup and only in gear. Matches engine rpm but goes away after 5mph Motor mount? Checked the differential bushings and they are all good!
The front driveshaft is missing the rear boot and of course is out of grease!
Anybody else had this issue?

Without hearing it one can only guess. My guess it's in the driveline. Start with the U-joints, move to the pinion bearings, then to the front bearing. That's all the simple stuff. Could it be a motor mount? It could, but not sure without putting a pry bar to it. But that's way down the list. Just for the heck of it, are all your lug nuts torqued properly? That's an outlier but easy to check. Go over the simple stuff first, then move up the scale. Try to narrow down the location of the noise if you can, but sometimes noises can be elusive.

Thanks Chipper. I’ll check the lug nuts
For sure! The noise resonates from the low drivers side firewall and is worse
In reverse ! Hasn’t gotten worse since it started I may remove the drive the front
Drive shaft to see if it goes away as well

That's a start. While you're under there, if you have a pry bar you can check the motor mounts by prying up under them to see if they're broken. That's easy enough. It doesn't take much effort to lift up on the engine with a 2x4 or a bar. If you have a bar that is ;) The additional info you gave could be what you said. If it's only in reverse, then it could very well be a motor mount. After 15 years or so the rubber can get hard and unbond from the plate.

Just thought of another thing. There's a mount under the trans if memory serves me. (which it usually doesn't) It sounds like when the engine torques in reverse you hear it. Check it with that bar. That's an easy one too.
