Sump plugs

Anyone with an engineering background know if a M6 16mm sump bolt will fit the standard 5/8-18 or are we looking at stripped/crossed threads?,i was looking at the dragon drain valve but they dont do the exact size.I like the fumoto but with the adapter thats needed i fear its to low and could get knocked out the dragon valves are very flush fitting.

The oil pan plug should be 3/8-19 BSPP ...at least the 05-06 US versions are, I would imagine yours is the same. Anything else will bugger it up.

look under d valve gives makes and models but crd not covered hoped i could use one of universal ones in correct thread size or as near to it as poss.

Another option I have been looking into is using a banjo fitting in place of the drain plug.

This is too cool...I cant believe I didnt think of this myself
