I used the Shop Vac and sucked out the years of crap laying in the carpet. I thew away all the stuff just sitting around the jeep (water bottles, notes, papers, etc...). I'm in no means a person who knows how to detail but I'm willing to learn. My first thing was to clean it up on the inside a little. Go ahead with any bashing but I'm learning!!

First order of business, get better mats for the rear, it'll make it much easier to clean later on.

Catch Alls for the rear (not the extremes, but the carpet-like ones), they do wonders keeping dirt within their boundaries..

I usually like to go around and clean all the plastic with a diluted All Purpose Cleaner. Of course I use Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner Plus, (diluted 10:1) on the inside.

Then I go over it with a protectant.. Such as Meguiars Natural Shine Protectant.

:D

I'd rather use a liner. I don't think the Mopar liner can be called extreme and it does a good job keeping the back end clean....

I have the exact same one and it covers perfectly and is easy to clean.

I meant the rear, not the cargo area.
Rear passenger carpets by Catch-All.
and I meant Catch all x-Treme (extreme), catch all has two models, regular and xtreme. Xtreme is more like liner and plastic-like surface, other one is carpet-like and matches interior very well. It really catches all, and works great.

I've got the Jeep Slush Mats in the rear. They're ok but no one has ever been in the back seat so they still look new.

AZKJ, is that the scent that's sold at Linen and Things or Bed Bath and Beyond kinda stores, the "expensive" scent? :) I actually had someone give me the original one in the glass jar, but my wife didn't like the scent, so I had carried it in my jeep until the rattle drove me crazy, I dumped it. It smelled nice, like orchard or vanilla/peach kinda mix.

OK.. OFF TOPIC 2:

Look at the first picture in the "CLEANED UP" line.. You can barely see Phil taking the picture, but it looks like he is an OLD MAN with a MUSTACHE that reminds one of those 40's pictures with clark gable. :) Look at it....

Oh, I thought it was one of those $7 scents.. :D
I ditched my "Black Magic" $1.99-for-set-of-3 scent, because wife kept complaining about that one too.. I might end up getting something sissy like Apple or Watermelon. :D

ahem... HAHAHAHAHHAAA... I didn't even notice that at first, I wasn't scrolling all the way over. :D

Anyway, I've let my Jeep get pretty bad.... but not that bad. Then again, his has like 180k miles lol3.gif, so it's understandable.... somewhat... maybe... not really.

Amazing the things you do in a driveway. Driveways, garages and backyards are why I couldn't live in an apartment. (Permanently).

But if you guys want to see a really f'd up vehicle inside, I should go take pics of the interior of the Sportage. (Which is still here!!! ARGH.)

... and I'm still driving it. :p
