Some problems with my 05' Kj Renegade

Hi everyone, I bought a Renegade Kj 2005, 3.7lt in 2008 and now it have some troubles.
1- About 6 month ago the clutch started to failed so I took it to a local mechanic and he changed it, but after the repair there was a metal sound still, he told me it was normal... Now the metal sound is worse and I'm thinking to change the clutch again but with a specialist mechanic. Im in Venezuela, the clutch here cost around 1000$ (I know, insane) so I will buy it online luk or some good brand. Can some one tell me where should I find it, the number part, where is cheaper, or post a link so I won't make any mistakes.
2 - the passenger abs sensor, my dog recently ate the cable, and now the abs's light is always on and so is the brake light, how do I buy this part, how much it will cost me, or can someone tell me the number part.
3- the engine light is on, I search the error code "P0131 O2 Sensor 1/1 Circuit Voltage Low". What does this means? what should I do?
4- Yesterday my speedometer stopped working, and I notice that there was a little smell of plastic burned, I looked around and didn't see any damaged :
5- My front drive shaft is broken, the head it's all damaged so I took it out and disarmed. Is there a replacement for this part or I will need to buy all the drive shaft?
6-In the highway there is always a strong sound from the wheels, I'm ridding mud tires 265/75 but some told me that it also may be the wheels bearing. Here, they are very expensive or just out of stock, so if someone can post a link where I can buy them, thankss!

Ah sorry to hear about all your troubles...I take it the guy you paid $1000 to for the clutch is not offering you a warranty, otherwise you are going to have to start over again.
In reality it is hard to go clutch shopping until you actually know what parts are worn out so it is best that your "specialist" determine what is required.

If your doggie ate the cable, hehe,(better than mice) can the wires not be spliced back again? Maybe get a photo and post it back in here, drivers or passenger side?
Code P0131 is probably the Oxygen Sensor: Consult Exhaust specialist or do a search on it.

The noise from the wheels you sure it is not just the aggressive tires? How many miles are on This Liberty?
Is it coming from the front or rear or both?

Could be a number of things depending on when it does it.

Next question - cupped (unevenly worn) mud tires will make a LOT of noise - sometimes a noise that sounds like a wheel bearing that's worn out.

The front driveshaft can be fixed by a good driveshaft shop. The parts are available, but unfortunately, they may or may not be available where you live.

The clutch always sounds except when I press it completely, the sound is higher when I press it half way. I was reading some articles about similar topics and I realized that in Venezuela everybody seems to have the same problem with the clutch when they change it. Why could that be?? In US or anywhere else have the same problem?? I'm thinking about going to an jeep dealer and leave them the job, they should do this job perfectly, but I have to spend other $1400 mores crewy.gif

I saw the cable again, and I realize that it can be fixeable like any other electricity cable, there are 2 cables, black and white, I joined them back and seems to work out perfectly, the speedometer started to work again, but the ABS and Brake light still on all the time

Jeep manual transmissions have made a rattly noise during clutch pedal operation for about a decade now. The noise is commonly the throw out bearing. It's just noisy, and it's gonna be noisy.

If this is your noise... then that's probably the reason.

For the driveshaft parts, no idea where to get them. Had the driveshaft fixed by a local driveshaft shop. The shop is cincinnatidriveline.com though.

If this is your noise... then that's probably the reason.

Is not that kind of sound, is like rubbing two metals, really loud.

Yes, before the clutch was damaged it didn't sounded, just when I notice some strange sound I went to some mechanics and all of them told me that the clutch needed to be change. So I did it and after that repair it started to sound again, and the mechanic who did the job told me that was normal.. but it's really not. Then he told me it could be the clutch kit that came already damaged.. :S

No good, man. Don't know what kind of laws for workshops you have in your country, but here in the US, if it's a factory-style part being replaced with a factory-style part, federal law mandates that the parts and labor are covered with a 12,000 mile/12 month warranty

Like even if ThunderbirdJunkie's radiator puked right now, since he paid for it through his former employer (an automotive shop), it would be covered.

Oh, wait, no it wouldn't
Jeep's had almost 30,000 miles put on it since then (rotflmao)

TBJ, you guys also have the "Magnuson Moss Act" that covers your *****.

We don't have that luxury in Canada, or anywhere else outside the good ole U S of A.

Here we have all kinds of thieves, here we say, when a mechanic creates more problems that there was in the first place, don't come back. Look another one recommended. There are some that take parts from your truck and replaced with old ones, of course, without any consulting.. Sad but true.. (Not every single mechanic is like this, but they are a big group )
