Rear wiper motor broke off!!!

Pulled the back panel on the 2002 to see what was wrong with the rear wiper motor and found it hanging from the assembly. The motor broke off it's metal bracket!!! It looked really clean with zero rust. Is this a pretty common issue? I'm guessing a previous owner was trying to run it while the blade was frozen to the glass maybe?

Have not heard of any rear wiper motor problems actually.

Ebay took care of the problem. $35.00 for a pull off motor and it works just fine. Note to self: rear door and glass must be closed when checking to see if the rear wiper motor works!!!
