I am having and issue with my rear windows in that the motors do not turn via the main or rear switch. I have verified that they do work out of the vehicle and this not a regulator issue. The front windows work correctly.
Any ideas on this.

Do you get power with a test light at the wire harness going into the regulator when pressing from or rear window controls. Sounds like an open wire. If front controls working the wire is most likely open in a connection from the back to each regulator.

What do you mean by "they work out of the vehicle"? this may be a USA/Canada system that t I am not aware off here in darkest Africa;)

What year/model is your Jeep..so I can check the Wiring Diagrams!

Does this have anything to do with the "child proof locks" that the rear doors can have enabled or disabled?

I pulled them and tested with a 12v source.

Well it seems when I replaced the carpet I forgot to connect the rear switches and I assume they are part of the wiring path.

Yep that would do it, at least it wasn’t an expensive fix:rolleyes:

I must have jinxed myself my rear drivers side only works in one direction now. I thought the regulator burned out so I replaced it now it does go up but either switch or wiring is bad now. Did you end up finding the connector?

Luckily it is stuck up and not down

I have not had the time to pull the seat and carpet up.
Thanks for the response.

I was finally able to get back to the Jeep and once the rear window switch was connected they are both working.
Thanks for the responses.
