RBQ radio- no CD mode

The RBQ headunit in the KJ isn't going into CD mode at all...it just switches from FM to AM. Any ideas?

Are there any aftermarket headunits that allow me to keep the steering wheel audio controls useable?

I have an RBP in very good condition that I took out of my KJ. I installed an RB1 so I have no need for the RBP.

Just installed a Clarion single CD stereo after my factory 6 disc changer died with the Axxess ASWC-1 adapter. A bit of a pain to set up but the steering wheel controls work like a charm.
