Codes...
Local Autozone stores will read codes for free but won't erase them. I ask the Autozone guy if I can see the scanner and delete the codes myself using their scanner. Some codes will reset after a few drive cycles and some won't so I just delete them and see if they come back. Apparently, parts store employees can't delete codes for a customer legally, but the owner can. If you don't have a scanner perhaps you can delete the codes this way.
