Oil pan

So it's just about time to replace the oil pan in my 2011 Liberty. I've checked it all out underneath & have read many articles about replacing it . They all vary on how to go about it . Before I jump into it , has anyone replaced one on a 08 -12 Liberty ? I'd like to hear from someone who has done one in one of them yrs & see if you could pass along any tips that could make this a little easier.

Will you have to drop the cradle or raise the engine?

I've read about doing it either way & then seen another way where you don't have to do either . You just kind of wiggle it out . I guess I'll find out soon .

Rusting out and I keep an eye on it! Tried to put some rustproofing paint on it last year but I don't think it helped!
