What type (and amount) of oil will you recomend on my rear diff?

I am now mounting a Powertrax locker in my 2003 KJ.

A stock Chrysler 8.25 takes 75W90. As far as with a locker, I don't see why you couldn't continue to run the same type, but I am unsure as to if you would need to put in some limited slip additive. I dont any experience with lockers and such, just the stock axles O:)

I put in 2 quarts of Royal Purple the last time. I like it. Plus it already has the limited slip add in it.

I use 75w-140syn with my powertrax. It was 18F the other day and it was popping like crazy. Every turn I took it would POP. After it got warmer it went away though.

75W-90 is suggested for regular service, 75W-140 if towing or heavy service. A good quality synthetic is what I would run for sure.
My Powertrax is noisy until warmed up too, I'm running Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-140 in it, no towing, just wheeling.
