My 05 liberty CRD has a weird issue tracking miles. All the dash gauges work except The digital odometer is stuck at 148k no changes Since I bought it less than 100 miles ago, the trip meter on the dash and trip meter on the roof console don’t track miles either. The roof console also has a mode that tracks how much miles you have left in correlation to fuel level but that’s at 0 as well. Any ideas what’s goin on?

The wires running to the ABS sensor plugged into the top of rear pumpkin are breaking from wire fatigue from the up and down movement of the rear suspension. The rear ABS sensor runs the odometer

You may or may not see that they're actually broken/cut, but that is your problem.

Order a new one from RockAuto, install it and you'll be good to go…while installing it, try to route the wires in away that is less influenced by the rear suspension.

Good tip, but wouldn't the Speedometer also be dead if this were the issue?
