I like to run 10-12" wide tires on our lava roads, fat tires last longer, better ride and better traction on wet lava rock roads, I need wider flares to accommodate them, not needing a big lift , not running a lot taller tires. But would like to cover them should I do this. Anyone fabricate us something that doesn't look like ass, I am thinking af using a parts vehicle set and just widening the stockers?

I doubt you'll find anything. There just isn't enough demand out there for anyone to make the investment. However, I don't think you'll need them if you stick closer to 10" wide. 265-70/16 tires are about 10.5" wide (section, not tread) which will still fit within the factory wheel arches. Anything bigger (taller) than that and you'll get rubbing and might need to start cutting sheet metal and fender liners. I don't think there are many options if you're looking for a shorter, fatter tire. A 31x10.5R15 might be your best bet if you're going for max width and volume but that of course requires going down to a 15" wheel.

You could try EZ Flares Fender Flares 1-inch to 2-Inch Fender Extensions.
They're universal for any vehicle.

Here is a video of a guy installing them on a Wrangler.
