Well according to a couple websites it does work but you will be also removing the lens protectant while doing it.
So it should get hazy again pretty quickly unless I put a sealant afterwords...

I've used the Meguire's kit before, works great. Never have had one get hazy again.

I took off the old decal and did this instead

I like it more but I still did a poor job on the edges. After looking up a video of how to do decals with plastidip, I found out the best way is to remove the tape when it is still wet.
I might re-do it with the same style later on but I will keep this for now
