Any suggestions on a new muffler. I'd like on that is high flow but, fairly quiet. Thanks for your help.

After seeing a magnaflow, i'll never go back to a chambered muffler. I've had the "turbo" style on a few vehicles, and plan to install one on the Jeep.

Even on a 5.7L Hemi, it was quiet at highway speeds, maybe just a little deeper, but when you opened up the throttle, it was much more noticeable. Nothing outrageously loud, just nice and deep, and "burbly" (if that's even a word...lol).

The turbo styles have a perforated pipe going through the muffler body, and the body is packed with fiberglass or some other heat resistant material. The perforations quiet the sound, but the straight thru pipe keeps flow up.

BTW...if you ask your supplier, Magnaflow (and possibly others), make a satin finish or lower grade finish muffler that's nearly half the price of the polished.
