motor swap 2003 into 2002

just finished putting motor swap 2003 motor into 2002. has been a painevery step of way . been doing on an off for 3 months .i am a novice who had help for awhile.nephew back to work . wanted to try to start but when i put battery cable on u could here the starter motor go already . any suggestions where to look?simple wire reversed or is it electic gemlins thx

pull wires on starter. Install bat cable, then check wires to see which have current to determine if miswired or electrical system at fault.

thx that is the very logical way to isolate problem .hope to get to it by week end an hope weather holds

no car does not have remote starter .i think starter wires mixed on install not esay to get at
